Interest in the latest products and technologies for the industry still remains at a high level. It was evident, among other things, during the last year's ITM Poland trade fair - nearly 1,000 exhibitors and represented companies were introduced to 16,017 visitors. Projection for 2014 is even better, so it is worth visiting the industries fair in June to check out the latest trends and products.

As part of this year's trade fair edition (June 3-6), for the first time we will be able to see the exhibitors from India - the partner country of ITM Poland 2014. Indian industry, especially engineering, recently has been experiencing an upward trend. India produces, among others, various types of machine tools, power plant equipment, mining and textile machinery, and electronic equipment. Also Indian shipbuilding industry is growing fast as well as the production of transportation vehicles, railway rolling stock and motor cars. Indian presence at ITM Poland will thus be an opportunity to commence promising business talks. India Show organized by EEPC will bring to Poznan more than 100 exhibitors.

For this year's edition of ITM Poland the organizers have also announced some other changes. For example, the fair pavilion 8a has already been opened after modernization. Thanks to the investments, it has been adapted for modern multi-storey stands - permissible height of structures will rise up to 10 m. This means that the "Four-pack" in which the ITM Poland exhibitors presented their offer in the field of machining (Mach-Tool lounge), has extended its exhibition area to 12,000 m2 gross. According to Joanna Kucharska, the director of ITM Poland, modernization has significantly improved the attractiveness of four pavilions – already there are only a few places left in Mach-Tool lounge.

The exhibition of the lounge is also to be enriched by special areas: maintenance repairs, Cax Innovation and CAD / CAM.
Additionally, this year's trade fair in Poznan will be accompanied by a new event - FOCAST Cast Forum. It is dedicated to foundries, manufacturers of machinery and equipment, components suppliers, service providers and the representatives of science. As part of this project, presentation of castings, components and technologies is going to take place, including iron, steel and non-ferrous alloy casting, forgings, moulding materials, artistic casts, furnaces and materials under the heat treatment of castings, as well as the design and manufacturing of machinery, equipment and complete lines for casting, measurement techniques and methods of material testing or process automation.

The increase in labour productivity by 20-30%? Reduction of production cost by 10-15%? It is possible with the participation of the latest technologies used in machines and devices, which can be watched from up close at ITM Poland trade fair. In Poznan, the exhibitors present the offer in such areas as engineering, automotive, armaments, energy and railway industry. Some equipment and tools can be tested during the fair - such opportunity is provided in the following interactive spaces: Skills Training Ground (Poligon Umiejętności) (within Surfex Surface Treatment Technolgies lounge) and Welding Academy (within Welding lounge).

The exhibition of ITM Poland, apart from cyclical events such as Engineering Forum, Stainless Steel Association seminar and the seminar of the Institute of Fine Mechanics, will also feature the 2nd National Exhibition "Competitive Poland" 1989-2014. An unique event in the country, which serves as a form of summarising and celebration of 25 years of independent Poland, will be held at the site of Poznan International Fair between 2 and 15 June 2014, under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski.
